How to make hf induction coils ?
Workpiece heating effect not only depends on the sensor working current .also the sensor’s shape, number of turns, sensor’s length(distance between workpiece and the transformer terminals),and other factors are closely related. According to the workpiece material, shape ,reasonable design sensors will make device output power to achieve the most using efficient.
Currently, based on experience, adhere to the following principles and requirements production, can basically meet the requirements:
1. Coils Materials:
Generally used diameter 6~diameter 8MM copper pipe, wall thickness 1MM is the best. If the copper tube diameter is over than 8MM, can be processed into a square or flattened steel production, but must ensure that water flow in the inner hole.If use high-power devices can use multi-tube parallel winding,in order to increase water flow capacity .
2.Shape of sensor/inductor selection:
The shape of sensor must be determined according to the shape of the workpiece shape and the workpiece is heated requirements. Principle requires copper tube along the workpiece heated winding and bending, essentially copper tube is parallel with the heated surface. More than two turns required to ensure consistency current flow between turns. And turns can not contact to prevent short circuits.
3. The number of turns of coils
Sensor turns depends on the requirements of the workpiece is heated , and match with load/workpiece, whether the machine has maximum power output. In general, after sensors made,connect to the machine, doing without load test(no workpiece), adjust the power to the minimum, viewing frequency meter indication, frequency 15KHZ ~ 25KHZ is the best, also the size of the induction coil should be adjusted according to the gap of the workpiece with sensor. Generally, keeping within the space between the sensor and the workpiece along 5MM ~ 10MM.
4. The length of the sensor(the machine terminal and work piece distance) ,under the cases of not affect use, maintain about 100MM, should not exceed 300MM.
5. The sensor production requirements:
a)after installation the sensor , to ensure the smooth flow of water inside the hole.
b) sensor is more than twice turns, should be put on the pipe temperature-resistant material, such as fiberglass pipe, fiberglass tape. Prevent inter-turn short circuit.
